The programme will be offered in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) and Electronics & Communication Engineering. Eligibility Criteria :
Full Time Research Scholar: An applicant who joins PhD at IIIT Ranchi under this category gets financial assistantship from the institute Computer Science Engineering: M.Tech/B.E/B.Tech or equivalent in Computer Science and Engineering/Electronics and Communication/ Telecommunication/ Electronics and Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Electronics and Electrical/ Electrical Engineering with a consistently good academic record in relevant discipline. The candidate should have first division or equivalent in both Bachelor and Master level degree. Candidates seeking admission should have valid score in GATE/UGC-NET/CSIR-NET (in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication or a related field) or completed M.Tech with Gate Score.

IIIT Ranchi PhD Admission 2019 Application Process------ Application form is required to be submitted, which will remain available on the IIIT Ranchi website www.iiitranchi.ac.in from July 08, 2019 to August 01, 2019. The GATE candidates will also have to apply through the same process. After filling the form, the candidates are advised to take a print of your application and keep the same for the record. Candidates can also apply for more than one programme. Non-refundable application fee for each programme for candidates is Rs. 1000/- for UR/OBC candidates and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST/Women candidates. The application fee is to be paid by Demand Draft in favour of IIIT Ranchi payable at Jamshedpur and the same shall be sent along with the application form. Please write Applicant Name / Post applied for on the back of Demand Draft. The envelope containing the application be super scribed as “Application for PhD Admission in Department, (IIIT, Ranchi). Non-refundable Application fee for each programme for all Sponsored candidates is Rs. 1000/-. It is the responsibility of the candidate, to ensure that he/she satisfies all eligibility criteria for a particular programme, as mentioned in this information brochure. The PhD admission will be based on the GATE score or written test/interview by the respective departments.
